Arex Advisor are happy to welcome Anja Bührer as General Manager and Vice President Regulatory Affairs for Arex Advisor AG, the Swiss entity of the Arex Advisor group.
With over 12 years of experience in leadership and Regulatory Affairs, Anja has extensive hands-on experience leading regulatory and cross-functional activities from early development through to registration, market access and post-approval life cycle maintenance. She has successfully led multiple Marketing Authorization Applications and combines a strategic mindset with a deep understanding of client challenges and a sharp eye for identifying business opportunities. With her natural talent for cultivating relationships with clients and leading successful teams, she is an excellent fit for the role.
Anja holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Studies in Pharmaceutical Medicine of the University of Basel, Switzerland and a Diploma in Biology (MSc) from the University of Freiburg, Germany. Prior to joining Arex, Anja held the position as Head Regulatory Affairs and Deputy CEO at SFL Regulatory Affairs & Scientific Communication GmbH and as Vice President Regulatory Affairs at Veristat.

Anja starts her position on 13 August and will be based in Basel, Switzerland.
