He has 20+ years experience from posit­ions as Founder, Chair­man, CEO and CFO within medical affairs consulting and small pharma. Previously Staffan worked in executive positions in big pharma and specialty pharma companies.

Emily Staaf

MSc Public Health with Health Economics

Emily specialises in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) with a comprehensive skill set for strategic and operational market access projects. Her experience spans both the pharmaceutical and MedTech sectors, in the Nordic region as well as global markets. Emily has an excellent understanding of the Nordic pricing and reimbursement systems, real world evidence, medical writing, and economic modelling.

Prior to joining Arex, she worked as a Senior HEOR Specialist at Cencora PharmaLex. Emily is a graduate of the University of Gothenburg, Uppsala University, and the University of Manchester. She is based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Marietta Hartl

PhD in Developmental Biology & Embryology

Marietta specialises in operational and customised Market Access and HTA projects for Switzerland, ensuring that evidence-based approaches support both patient outcomes and commercial success. She has several years of experience in Medical Affairs and Regulatory Affairs, especially in medical writing. Her most recent position was as Senior Manager in Medical affairs and Market Access at Veristat in Basel.

Marietta holds a PhD in Developmental Biology & Embryology from the University of Basel and an MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Vienna.
